 | Great Month for CA Rookie Friday, June 1st , 1962 Ham Flanders's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Montreal first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In May he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .339 with 2 doubles, 3 triples and 4 home runs. Flanders also scored 19 times and drove in 14 runs. This season, Flanders is hitting .352 with 5 home runs. |   |
