 | Wolves Hoxworth Lost for Year Monday, May 28th , 1962 The Toronto Wolves were dealt a blow today when starting pitcher George Hoxworth left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Hoxworth has suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. So far this season, Hoxworth has a 5-2 record, 9 starts, 57 innings, 41 strikeouts and a 3.95 ERA. |   |
