 | Parker on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Boston Friday, April 11th , 1975 It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 5-for-5 day. For many, it might come around only once in a career -- and for Andy Parker, it came around today. The 35-year-old first baseman scattered hits all over Liberty Coliseum to pace the 12-3 Philadelphia Keystones victory over the Boston Minutemen. Boston skipper Dode Edwards told reporters in the press room that "Parker deserves a hat-tip." "He hit some good pitches against us," he said. "In fact, according to our scouting reports, Parker hit several that he is not supposed to be able to hit."
