 | Cougars End Reed Streak Tuesday, May 8th , 1962 Tom Reed's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games, as the Toronto Wolves dropped their contest with the Chicago Cougars, 4-2, at Dominion Stadium. Reed failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-3. After the game Reed spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said.
