 | Baltimore, St. Louis Make Deal Friday, November 1st , 1974 The Clippers and Pioneers announced a deal that was completed today. Baltimore sent 19-year old minor league LF Gene Day to St. Louis for 38-year old LHP Bobby Carr. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. In his career, Carr has appeared in 555 games and earned 100 saves with 798 Ks in 1528.2 innings. He has a record of 95 wins and 101 losses and a 4.02 ERA. |   |
