Baltimore, St. Louis Make Deal Friday, November 1st , 1974 The Clippers and Pioneers announced a deal that was completed today. Baltimore sent 19-year old minor league LF Gene Day to St. Louis for 38-year old LHP Bobby Carr. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved.
