 | Deal: Brown for Holbrook Friday, November 1st , 1974 The Sailors and Suns pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 25-year old CF Ike Brown, 20-year old minor league LF Zack Slaton, and 24-year old RF Larry Hurlbutt head to Los Angeles in exchange for 23-year old minor league LHP Charlie Holbrook. A source close to San Francisco officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." For his career, Brown is hitting .260 with 24 homers, 110 RBIs and 252 hits. |   |
