 | Baltimore, Montreal Make Trade Thursday, October 31st , 1974 In a move that has left many fans wondering, the Baltimore Clippers have traded 22-year old minor league C Rudy Earls to the Montreal Saints. In return, the Clippers receive 35-year old RHP Bob Nelson. At 35 years of age, Nelson has put up these numbers in his career: 479 appearances, a 84-82 record in 1539 innings, and 1127 strikeouts. He has 24 saves and a career 4.18 ERA. |   |
