 | Cougars Trade Menz to Minutemen for Wright Monday, October 28th , 1974 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Chicago Cougars and the Boston Minutemen have agreed to a deal that will have 30-year old RF Bob Menz heading to Boston in exchange for 18-year old minor league 2B Lee Wright and 23-year old minor league RHP Al McCauley. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Lifetime Menz has connected for 43 home runs, hit .240 and driven in 170 runs. |   |
