 | Mitchell and Powell Swapped Sunday, October 27th , 1974 Fans in Los Angeles woke up this morning to learn that their team had traded 18-year old minor league 3B Charlie Mitchell to the Cincinnati Cannons. In return, the Suns will receive 32-year old RHP Moe Powell. Over his career Powell has 70 victories and 98 defeats with a 4.07 ERA. The 32-year-old hurler also has struck out 1104 batters in 1607 innings and surrendered 1554 hits. |   |
