 | Cincinnati-Houston Announce Swap Tuesday, October 22nd , 1974 In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Cincinnati Cannons have swapped 24-year old minor league 1B Norm Myers and 24-year old minor league RHP Joe Brotman to the Houston Comets for 35-year old LHP Dutch Lane. The Cannons GM told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it." During his career, Lane has compiled a 104-65 mark, pitched in 611 games, been credited with 116 saves and posted a 3.09 ERA. He has 996 strikeouts in 1349 innings pitched. |   |
