Sunday, September 15th , 1974
The Baltimore Clippers posted a 7-0 shutout over the Philadelphia Keystones behind a strong performance by Dick Butler. The Clippers pitcher, who finished 4th in the CA in saves with 18 in 1969, held the Keystones to 6 hits while walking 0 and fanning 1 in the route-going win.

"It feels good to be wearing a Baltimore Clippers uniform today," the right-hander said, following the game.

Butler has made 32 starts this season, posting 12 wins and 9 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .260 against him and he has 117 strikeouts in 190 innings with a 4.07 ERA.
