| Masters and Newhall Dealt Thursday, November 2nd , 1961 The Boston Minutemen have parted ways with 30-year old RF Rick Masters in a trade with the Pittsburgh Miners for 33-year old RF Bill Newhall. Minutemen general manager Palmer confirmed the deal in an announcement this morning.
During his career, Masters has notched 1732 hits and a .303 average with 303 home runs and 988 RBIs.
All-time Newhall has played in 1475 games, batted .295 with 122 home runs and 1537 base hits. | | |
