 | Stewart and Bean Traded Tuesday, October 31st , 1961 The Wolves and Kings confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, Toronto will get 20-year old minor league RHP Marty Bean, while Kansas City will receive 30-year old RHP Whitey Stewart. In his 266-game career Stewart has been credited with 68 wins, 90 losses and 22 saves. His ERA stands at 4.14, and he has fired third strikes past 815 batters in 1366.1 innings while giving up 595 walks. |   |
