 | Cougars Deal Maldonado to Wolves for Baab Monday, February 24th , 1975 The Chicago Cougars have finalized a deal with the Toronto Wolves for the services of 27-year old 1B John Baab. In exchange, the Wolves will receive 32-year old LHP Manny Espinosa, 23-year old minor league 1B Pedro Maldonado, and $10,000 in cash. In 323 games Baab has a career .277 batting average and a .374 on-base percentage. He has hit 22 home runs with 121 RBIs and 124 runs scored. |   |
