 | Minutemen Trade Green to Wolves for Irwin Sunday, April 7th , 1963 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Minutemen announced today the acquisition of 20-year old C Larry Irwin from the Toronto Wolves in exchange for 24-year old LHP Bob Green. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Minutemen, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Boston will retain a portion of Green's remaining contract.
