 | Stars Lose Schoolfield for Season Monday, March 25th , 1963 The season is ending on a bad note for Jim Schoolfield, starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Stars. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Schoolfield was hurt against the Dallas Wranglers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for at least 12 months. |   |
