| Harris Shackles Kansas City Sunday, August 18th , 1974 Cleveland Foresters pitcher Bill Harris blanked the Kansas City Mavericks, 1-0, at Forester Stadium, tossing a 6-hitter while issuing no walks and collecting 6 strikeouts.
After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.
"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Harris said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
This year, Harris has compiled a 9-12 mark with a 3.37 ERA in 28 starts.
