| Skipper Patterson Shown the Door in Washington Thursday, October 19th , 1916 The Washington Eagles and Roger Patterson have parted ways. It was announced today by club officials that Roger Patterson had been dismissed as the team's manager.
Eagles GM Boone told reporters that "certain goals were mutually agreed upon this season and, in our estimation, they have not been reached. Our team has not made the progress we were promised."
Patterson told BNN that he is "proud of what has been accomplished in my tenure as the Eagles manager. We have a better club now than when I first got here. I'm just sorry it ended this way." | | |
