 | Washington's Mike Maguire Suffers Setback Thursday, October 16th , 1913 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Washington Eagles today as they learned that first baseman Mike Maguire had suffered a setback in his recovery from knee tendinitis and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is one week. Thus far this year, Maguire is batting .247 with 1 home run, 56 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |   |
