Kansas City's Hank Williams put the wraps on a fine campaign today by winning the 1963 Continental Association Whitney Award.

The 30-year-old veteran scorched the opposition with a .374 average, picking up 219 hits, 39 doubles, 9 triples, 44 home runs and 141 RBIs, while scoring 126 runs.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ralph Barrell of the Los Angeles Stars finished second in voting, while Dallas Berry of the Cincinnati Cannons finished third.
