 | Carney of Kings Honored, CA's Best Manager Saturday, October 19th , 1963 An outstanding season by the Kings garnered their manager Glenn Carney the Continental Association Manager of the Year award for 1963. He led Kansas City to a 112-50 record this year and a first place finish in the Continental Association. Even so, Carney seemed less than thrilled.
