"Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Dynamos manager Verlin Alexander said.
Detroit last appeared in the postseason in 1958. This is their 5th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 59 times in their 72-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Dynamos have made the playoffs 6 times. Detroit has won the World Championship Series 9 times in their history. | | |
