Kennedy Gone for Season in Cleveland
Friday, September 20th , 1963
The news is bad in Cleveland. The Foresters have lost the services of catcher Hal Kennedy for the rest of the season due to a fractured rib. Kennedy was injured in a recent game with the Montreal Saints while colliding with a player at a base and is expected to miss 3 weeks.

Kennedy is batting at a .335 pace this season, picking up 149 hits in 445 at-bats with 24 home runs, 81 RBIs and 75 runs scored.
