Today, the Sailors were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Before this season, the Sailors last missed the playoffs in 1961. In the 72 years they have been a Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues franchise, they have missed the playoffs 62 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Sailors have only made the playoffs once.
