 | Houston Sends Rivera to Cincinnati Sunday, November 9th , 1975 After a week of negotiations, the Comets and Cannons have come to terms on a deal that will send 22-year old minor league RHP Juan Rivera to Cincinnati for 33-year old RHP Joe Rice. Since breaking into the league, Rice has compiled a 58-50 mark, pitched in 250 games, been credited with 6 saves and amassed a 4.00 ERA. He has 569 strikeouts in 934.1 innings pitched. |   |
