Washington Eagles hurler Billy Robertson was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the St. Louis Pioneers, shutting them out, 4-0, on 6 hits.

"Billy was very aggressive tonight," Washington manager Roger Patterson said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence."

Through 7 innings, Robertson tallied 3 strikeouts and allowed 4 walks.

"He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Roy Bledsoe said. "Robertson has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."

Currently Robertson has a record of 13-7 with 53 strikeouts and 44 walks in 135 innings and a 2.33 ERA.
