 | Recovery Slow for Stars Bob Branson Monday, September 29th , 1975 Los Angeles got some bad news today concerning shortstop Bob Branson. He is recovering from a fractured thumb. Club doctors have extended his time of return to 8 weeks, saying his injury has not responded well to treatment. It is worse than they first diagnosed. Bob Branson is expected to undergo surgery in Los Angeles(California) tomorrow. In his season totals Branson has 8 home runs and a .279 batting average. |   |
