Cleveland Playoff Hopes Officially Zero
Sunday, September 28th , 1975
The Cleveland Foresters were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Charlie Sawyer of the Foresters said it's a tough way to finish out the season.

"To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said.

The Foresters have made the playoffs 13 times in their 84 years as a Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 14th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1961. Cleveland last won the World Championship Series in 1957.
