 | Saints Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, September 25th , 1975 Fans of the Montreal Saints will no doubt look back at a handful of games and wonder what could have been, if only a few things had gone differently. For now, the focus turns to next season, as the club was officially eliminated from playoff contention today. The Saints have missed the playoffs 75 times in their 84 years as a Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1973. In the last 10 seasons, the Saints have missed the playoffs 5 times.
