 | Postseason Bid Ends for Houston Wednesday, September 24th , 1975 Johnny Blackburn said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Houston Comets after they missed the Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. The Comets also missed the playoffs last year. |   |
