 | Hunter Struts Stuff in Win Over Cleveland Monday, September 22nd , 1975 Jim Hunter kept the Cleveland Foresters hitters from doing much damage at Forester Stadium. Cleveland could only muster 7 hits and draw no walks against the right-handed Hunter, who controlled them throughout the game. Toronto won the contest, 6-0. Hunter added 4 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Hunter told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." This season, Hunter has a 9-5 mark in 25 starts with a 3.79 ERA. He has given up 194 hits in 183 innings, struck out 53 and issued 53 walks.
