 | Moyer 5-for-5 Against Montreal Sunday, September 21st , 1975 At Lakefront Park, Rich Moyer of the Milwaukee Arrows put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and mauled the Montreal Saints pitching staff, but Milwaukee still came up short on the scoreboard. The Arrows went home with the 17-9 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their first baseman. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Moyer said in the postgame interview. Rich Moyer walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
