 | The Math Says - Detroit Out of Playoffs Friday, September 19th , 1975 The Detroit Dynamos have a new opponent: mathematics. The Dynamos still have games to play in their disappointing 1975 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Dynamos were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. The Dynamos have missed the playoffs 71 times in their 84 years as a Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 17th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 1958. Detroit has won the World Championship Series 9 times in their history. |   |
