New York's Bill Arndt Suffers Setback
Wednesday, September 10th , 1975
"It's worse than we thought." That was the news from the Gothams clubhouse today as it was learned that center fielder Bill Arndt will be out for an added one week as a result of a recent injury. His treatment for a strained quad will have to be extended. Initially it didn't seem the injury was a major concern, but the New York center fielder told team trainers of some discomfort yesterday morning, and upon examination it was determined to be a more serious injury. "We'd rather take this thing slowly and make sure Bill gets back onto the field healthy," said the team's head trainer.

So far this year, Arndt has hit .275 with 13 home runs, 81 RBIs and 64 runs scored.
