The team was mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. This is the club's 34th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1941. In total, the Cougars have missed the playoffs 74 times in their 84-year history. Chicago last won the World Championship Series in 1931. |   |
