 | Kansas City's Keil Bags CA Batting Award Monday, September 1st , 1975 Kansas City Mavericks fans believe they've got a talented young star in Tony Keil. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .359 with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and 18 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the Continental Association Batter of the Month. This year, Keil is hitting .278, produced 68 RBIs and 14 home runs, scored 73 times and gotten on base at a .355 rate. |   |
