The Chicago Chiefs second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Baltimore Clippers and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Butts was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn calf muscle and stated that he would not be able to play for 5-6 months.
