| Federal Association East Won: Atlanta Crowned Tuesday, August 26th , 1975 A season's worth of hard work has culminated in a division championship for the Atlanta Copperheads.
The club officially clinched its spot atop the Federal Association East today, with plenty of games to spare.
"It feels good to get it wrapped up early and now be able to set ourselves up for the playoffs," said second baseman Al Hubbard.
The club currently has a 95-35 record and this is their 16th division championship.
"We want to bring the 4th World Championship Series to Atlanta," said Don Fox. "We think we've got what it takes to be the best in Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues." | | |
