 | Hit Streak for Cohen Reaches 20 Wednesday, August 20th , 1975 Chuck Cohen, first baseman for the Kansas City Mavericks, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games with 3 hits in his club's 6-3 victory over the Milwaukee Arrows at Mavericks Stadium. "Not the outcome we wanted," Milwaukee manager Randy Hendrix said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." Chuck Cohen singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th and singled in the 7th. For the year, Cohen has hit .289 with 3 home runs, 56 RBIs and scored 64 runs. |   |
