 | Razor-Sharp Mullins Blanks Chicago Friday, August 15th , 1975 It wasn't easy but Bunny Mullins made it look that way. Mullins silenced the Chicago Chiefs, 3-0, in a New York Gothams triumph at Whitney Park. Despite the appearance of dominance, Mullins said that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up no walks and 5 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else." This season, Mullins has worked 205.2 innings with 160 strikeouts en route to a 9-13 record and a 3.72 ERA.
