 | Chicago 3B Lorang Will Miss 2 Weeks Wednesday, August 6th , 1975 Tom Lorang of the Chicago Cougars was injured in today's game against Los Angeles and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn ligament in his thumb, and he is expected to be out for up to 2 weeks. It happened while Lorang was colliding with a player at a base. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Thus far this year, Lorang has hit .277 with 6 home runs and 41 RBIs. |   |
