 | Meissner Earns July's Best Pitcher Honor Friday, August 1st , 1975 The Pitcher of the Month Award has been announced and the Federal Association winner is Los Angeles hurler, Pete Meissner. For his standout performances in July he has been named the league's best pitcher. During the month, Meissner excelled with a 2.12 ERA and 6 wins and no losses.
