| Miller Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Saturday, July 26th , 1975 It was a parade of hits for John Miller of the Dallas Wranglers at Norris Stadium.
Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Miller finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Wranglers to a win, 12-4.
"Miller was really good and we were really bad," groaned Stars manager Charley McCullough. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him."
John Miller hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
