 | Philadelphia Out of Playoff Race Saturday, September 15th , 1962 Fans of the Philadelphia Keystones who thought the club was playoff-bound may have been a little too optimistic this year. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. Before this season, the Keystones last missed the playoffs in 1960. In the 87 years they have been a Federally Aligned Baseball Leagues franchise, they have missed the playoffs 81 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Keystones have only made the playoffs once. Philadelphia last won the World Championship Series in 1961. |   |
