Trouble in Detroit, Austin Suffers Setback
Wednesday, July 2nd , 1975
A frustrated Bill Austin told reporters today that he would be out an additional one week after suffering a relapse in his recovery from a sprained ankle. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the Detroit Dynamos third baseman revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now."

Austin is batting at a .270 pace this season, picking up 37 hits in 137 at-bats with 3 home runs, 25 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
