Garrison Sits Out with Day-to-Day Injury
Tuesday, July 1st , 1975
Reports out of Los Angeles indicate that Bobby Garrison, the gifted first baseman, might be sidelined for one week or so with back tightness. The 32-year-old star suffered the injury in yesterday's Sailors-Stars game while running the bases. "It's a game time decision," noted the team doctor, "It all depends on how Bobby feels later today. If he can play, he will."

In 77 games this season, Garrison has batted at a .301 pace with 84 hits and 14 home runs.
