When it came to hitting the baseball, Jack Blair had few peers in the Federal Association this past week.

The talented right fielder for Atlanta tagged opposing pitchers for a .536 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 15 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 homers, 10 runs scored and 15 RBIs.

This season, Blair is swinging the bat at a .333 rate with 85 hits in 255 at-bats. To date he has hit 6 home runs, scored 34 runs and driven in 50.
