Kellum Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak
Sunday, June 22nd , 1975
The Los Angeles Suns fell to the Detroit Dynamos in Thompson Field, even as 33-year-old third baseman Eddie Kellum upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Kellum finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Suns from dropping the 5-2 decision.

"Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Kellum.
Eddie Kellum doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th.

This year, Kellum is hitting .327, produced 17 RBIs and 0 home runs, scored 28 times and gotten on base at a .371 rate.
