 | Cannons Barrell Tames Dallas Saturday, June 14th , 1975 Ace Barrell had an impressive outing at Tice Memorial Stadium II, hurling the Cincinnati Cannons to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Dallas Wranglers. "He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Dallas skipper Vic Kramer said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders." On the day, the right-handed Barrell yielded 5 hits and tallied 6 strikeouts with 1 walk.
