New York could only muster 6 hits and draw no walks against the left-handed Fleury, who controlled them throughout the game. Brooklyn won the contest, 1-0. Fleury added 1 strikeout in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Fleury told reporters after the shutout win.
